1. How frequently should I charge my golf cart batteries?
You should charge your batteries more frequently than not. The more you charge your cart the better. Metrolina Carts highly recommends that you unplug, and plug back in at the cart terminal for recharging your cart once a week. This will insure a healthier, long lasting battery pack.
2. How long will my golf cart run when my batteries are fully charged?
The average golf cart typically travels from 15 to 30 miles on a full charge depending on the terrain, the load on the golf cart, and the condition of the batteries.
3. How long does it take to charge my battery pack?
It generally takes 2 to 8 hours to fully charge your golf cart battery pack. In some cases it could take longer depending on the time and usage of the cart in between charges.
4. Can I fill my battery cells with tap water?
No. You should always use distilled water only.
5. Should I buy a Gas or Electric golf cart?
Both gas and electric golf carts have their advantages and disadvantages. Give us a call and let us help you decide which cart is right for you.
6. Do you take trade-ins?
Yes, Metrolina Carts takes trade-ins. You will need to bring your cart by our shop for an accurate evaluation and price of the cart before trade.
7. Do you warranty your golf carts?
Yes, at Metrolina Carts we offer a 6-month limited warranty, some exceptions may apply. Contact Metrolina Carts today for more information.
8. What is Metrolina Carts Return Policy?
All parts and accessories must be returned within 10 days of original purchase date. Receipt must be present upon return. Items purchased must be returned in original packaging and original condition. There is no return on any special order parts & accessories. Electrical parts and accessories are not returnable.
There is no return on golf carts. Metrolina Carts strives to make every cart perfect. We offer a 6-month warranty to fix any issues the cart may have.
9. Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver golf carts to all customers within 20 miles of our shop free of charge. Other customers will receive minimal charges for fuel. We also ship carts NATIONWIDE, please call Metrolina Carts for a shipping quote today!
10. Where are you located?

11. What methods of payment do you accept?
At Metrolina Carts we accept payments by Cash, Check, Debit and all major credit cards. Note: A 3% Surcharge will be applied to credit card transactions. *Does not apply to the Yard Card Financing Program.
12. Is there sales tax?
Yes, there is a 7% retail sales tax on all items purchased at Metrolina Carts.
13. How do I get a permit for my golf cart in South Carolina?
Fill out the South Carolina Golf Cart Permit Registration Form or visit http://www.scdmvonline.com/dmvnew/Forms/GC-2.pdf. Take the completed form to your local SCDMV with a certificate of insurance on your golf cart. They will then supply you with your South Carolina Golf Cart Permit.
